Social Media Proposal

A founder brand people want to learn from, with a working salon behind it.

Begin
01The Opportunity01 / 08

Six years in, and ready for what’s next.

You’ve been running Isla Grace since 2020 and doing your own socials the whole way. In-person training launched in September, the online academy launches at the end of November, and your goal for 2027 is to grow that academy into a six-figure business, with the salon running like a well-oiled machine.

You’re starting from a really strong foundation. Your page now needs to catch up to the business, and that’s where we come in.

2020: the year you started Isla Grace

3 sides to the business: the salon, in-person training and the online academy

2027: the year of the academy, with no second location and no big team

What we’d put front and centre

  • They come
  • for you.
  • They stay
  • to learn.
  • The salon
  • proves it.

Training means the business can grow past the number of appointments you can fit in a week. You love being on camera, which makes our job so much easier, so we’d build everything around you.

Two faces lying head to head, close and softly lit, with defined brows

Our job is to make your page look as good as the business behind it.

02What We Heard02 / 08

What we took from our call.

Five things stood out, and the rest of this proposal is built around them.

  1. 01

    A brand people recognise

What you’re describing is what we call a brand world. It’s the difference between having colours, fonts and a logo, and having a page people know is yours before they read the name.

  2. 02

    Education comes first in 2027

The academy is where you see the most room to grow, so the education content has to be really good.

  3. 03

    Content you’re happy to post

You want to open a carousel and feel good about posting it, with no rework. Handing this over should give you time back.

  4. 04

    You stay front and centre

You love being on camera and you’ve got a strong presence. More support shouldn’t make the page feel any less like you.

  5. 05

    Knowing what you’re paying for

You’re open to more support, as long as the value is there and it’s clear who does what. Chapter 06 lays it all out.

03Our Recommended Direction03 / 08

A founder brand, with the salon as the proof.

Our recommendation: a recognisable founder brand that makes Isla Grace an aspirational place to learn, with a working salon showing the expertise behind the education.

How it all connects:

A founder people feel they know

People choose a teacher as much as a course. They see you all the time and feel like they know you, so when they’re ready to learn, you’re who they think of.

Knowledge people save

Useful, beautiful education gives future students a taste of how you teach. It also shows clients how much thought goes into their treatment.

The salon proves it

The work, the team and the standards show you do what you teach, every day. It keeps the salon front of mind for clients too, and it helps with hiring, because people see it and want to work there.

A clear next step

If someone’s interested, they need to know where to go. The content points them to a training enquiry or a salon booking, so one page can look after both sides of the business.

The academy is the big focus for 2027. The salon stays a big part of the story, and we’ll keep supporting it.

One page, to start

Now: your combined pageLater, when you’re ready: separate pages

We’d start with the page you already have, building up the founder brand and still supporting salon bookings. This proposal covers that one page.

You don’t want to rush a split in January, and we completely agree. Get one page looking exactly how you want it first. We’d work out what each page is for during onboarding, and when the time comes, the split can be a launch of its own.

04A Preview of the Content04 / 08

Four content streams, each with a job to do.

A few early creative examples, so you can see how the ideas could look. We’d build out the detailed strategy in onboarding. Hover or select a stream to see it.

Credibility

The educator

Useful technical education that gives future students a taste of how you teach.

Example ideas

  • “What I’m checking before I start a brow appointment.”
  • “The consultation questions that change the treatment plan.”
Proof

Behind the salon

The real standards, decisions and team moments that show you know what you’re doing.

Example ideas

  • “What happens before our first client walks in.”
  • “How I introduce a new team member to our clients.”
Connection

The founder

Your personality, your opinions and what you’ve learned running the business.

Example ideas

  • “What six years of running a salon has taught me.”
  • “The parts of owning a beauty business nobody sees on Instagram.”
Next step

Inside the academy

What learning with you is like, and what to do next if they’re keen.

Example ideas

  • “In-person or online training: which suits you?”
  • “A look inside a lesson.”
05Your Visual Direction05 / 08

Your pink, with a world around it.

Colours, fonts and a logo make a brand kit. A brand world is when someone sees a post and knows it’s you before they see your name. Your whole salon is pink and that’s what people know you for, so the pink stays. We’d make it feel next level.

The palette

  • Isla Grace pink
  • Soft pink
  • Warm white
  • Restrained neutral
  • Charcoal

These pinks are a guide. We’d match them to your brand kit in onboarding.

  1. 01

    Pink, with room around it

Warm white, charcoal and soft neutrals give the pink some space, so it still feels like you, just more polished.

  2. 02

    Editorial typography

Strong type that’s easy to read at a glance, so a post looks like yours before anyone sees the logo.

  3. 03

    Beautiful treatment detail

Flattering light and good crops, so the work looks as good on a phone as it does in the chair.

  4. 04

    Founder, salon and education together

Portraits, salon moments and educational design that look like they belong on the same page.

  5. 05

    Carousels worth saving

Useful enough to save, and pretty enough that people go, I love this page.

What we’d leave out

Generic beauty templates, busy graphics and quote tile after quote tile.

A carousel with a job at every swipe

Carousels are our thing. Here’s how one could work, so it’s useful enough to save and looks like you before anyone reads the name.

A clear promise and a reason to keep swiping.

  2. 02The substance

Your knowledge, in your words, designed by us.

  3. 03The proof

Real work from the salon that backs it up.

  4. 04The next step

Enquire about training, or book in.

06Ways We Can Work Together06 / 08

Two options, and exactly who does what.

Both start from the same creative direction. The difference is how much comes off your plate.

Option 01

Content Concierge

$2,700 AUD per month, plus GST

We do all the content, then send it over. Your team looks after captions and posting.

Flicker handles

  • Content planning and creative direction
  • Ideas, hooks and filming guidance
  • Reel editing from supplied footage
  • Custom carousel and graphic design
  • Content sent to you, ready to review and post

Your team handles

Captions and posting, plus approvals and supplied footage.

Option 02 Our recommendation

Full social media management

$3,100 AUD per month, plus GST

We take care of all of it and you still get the final say. You just won’t need to be on Instagram as much.

Flicker handles

  • Bespoke social media strategy and creative direction
  • One platform: Instagram
  • Four feed posts per week
  • Five original Stories per week
  • Custom content calendar and grid planning
  • Filming guidance, editing and design
  • Copywriting and hashtags
  • Scheduling and publishing
  • Monthly report and 1:1 strategy session
  • Slack support, a clear approval process and account management
  • A complimentary two-hour content shoot each month

You handle

Approvals, any extra footage between shoots and being yourself on camera.

4 Feed posts per week

Full management includes four feed posts a week. That’s what we talked about on our call: enough that people see you, without them getting sick of you. Our carousels take about two and a half hours each, so this keeps the quality up. You also get five original Stories a week and a complimentary two-hour content shoot every month.

Not included in either option unless added to your final scope: community management, TikTok, advertising and additional accounts.

Our recommendation

We’d go with full social media management. Getting this off your plate is the big priority, and the monthly shoot means filming doesn’t all fall on your team. Content Concierge is a great place to start if your team would like to keep captions and posting for now. A lot of our clients start there and move up once they’re comfortable, and we can look at it again after three months.

07The First Three Months07 / 08

Set up properly, then find the rhythm.

Onboarding takes about four weeks and happens before anything goes live. The content rollout starts after that. Select a stage to see what’s in it.

Before publishing begins

Onboarding

FocusSet the visual direction, your priorities and how we’ll work together.

  • Questionnaire, access and your files
  • The visual direction for your page
  • What the page needs to do for each side of the business
  • How content gets made and approved

Once publishing begins

Content rollout

FocusGet consistent founder-led content out there and start promoting the academy.

  • On full management: four feed posts and five original Stories per week, with a monthly content shoot
  • Founder-led content, education and salon moments
  • Academy promotion with a clear next step
  • Ongoing support for salon bookings

Once we’ve got some posts out

Review and refine

FocusSee what’s working, tweak what isn’t and talk about whether it’s time to split the page.

  • A look at what people are responding to
  • Tweaks to the approach
  • A check-in on whether your level of support still suits you
  • A chat about whether you’re ready for separate pages, with no fixed date
